Ukraine did not carry out any "attacks" on the Kremlin and Russian dictator Vladimir Putin. The state uses weapons to defend its territory.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi announced this at a press conference.
Zelenskyі was asked to comment on Ukraine's accusations of an alleged attack on the Kremlin.
"I can repeat this message, I think it will be clear to everyone: we are not attacking Putin or Moscow," the president said.
Zelenskyі emphasized that Ukraine defends its territory, its villages and cities. At the same time, our state does not have enough weapons even for these needs.
"We don't have enough weapons even for that. That's why we don't use them elsewhere. We have a shortage, we can't use anything, anywhere. That's why we didn't attack Putin, we'll leave that to the tribunal," the president added.
Zelenskyі was also asked why Russia could accuse Ukraine of an alleged attempt to assassinate Putin.
"Everything is very simple. There are no victories in Russia. He (Putin) can no longer motivate his state, he has no victories on the battlefield. The Second World Army has lost, they cannot occupy us. Now he needs to somehow motivate these people to they went forward, except for the Wagnerites, who are shot if they don't go forward and turn back," he said.
Thus, Zelenskyі noted that Putin is no longer able to "sell" victories to his society in terms of information, because he no longer has any victories.
"They lost this war, they lost historically. Now he has to do something drastic. Some assassinations, then drones, then some geese that bombed them. They will invent one or another steps. And everything is solved more simply - there is no need to intimidate anyone, get out of of our territory, which is recognized by everyone," the Ukrainian leader added.
We will remind you that today the Russian Federation announced that Ukraine allegedly tried to attack the Kremlin with the help of drones.
At the same time, the President's Office assures that Ukraine did not attack the Kremlin that night or any other objects on the territory of the Russian Federation.
