Ukraine and the Czech Republic have prepared six projects for the joint production of weapons and ammunition, training aircraft and tank repair with the possibility of full implementation of production works on Ukrainian territory.
This was announced by Czech President Petr Pavel at a joint press conference with the presidents of Ukraine and Slovakia in Kyiv, writes Interfax-Ukraine.
"We have prepared 6 key joint production projects on the basis of both Ukrainian and Czech companies," Pavlo said.
According to him, the projects relate to the production of weapons, ammunition, tank repair and the potential production of training aircraft.
"For us, the transfer of technologies and production is a priority, so that this production can be partially or fully carried out on the territory of Ukraine. The final result will be used taking into account the technologies that are available in both countries," Pavlo said.
In Kyiv, Pavel also declared his support for Ukraine's acquisition of membership in the North Atlantic Alliance.
In addition, Pavel announced that the Czech Republic will open a consulate in the Dnipro region to strengthen the possibility of assistance for the reconstruction of this region.
