Today, April 28, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi held a meeting with the new President of the Czech Republic, Petr Pavel, and with Slovak President Zuzana Chaputova.

Zelensky thanked his Czech colleague for the visit, and also noted that the Czech Republic has been helping Ukraine since the first days.
"Thank you for this visit, which began with the visit of Buch and Borodyanka. We appreciate the support of the Czech Republic, the Czech government and the entire society from the first day of the full-scale invasion," the president said.
Later, the president met with the president of Slovakia. Zelenskyі thanked her for supporting the Ukrainian people, the army, and for helping to restore Ukraine.

Earlier we wrote that the Czech Republic will pay for training for 20-25 pilots from Ukraine. The country's government approved the proposal.
In turn, Slovakia completed the process of transferring MiG-29 fighters to Ukraine. All the promised 13 planes are already in Ukraine.
