A military transport plane of Turkey, which was supposed to evacuate Turkish citizens from Sudan, came under fire.

According to the Turkish publication Anadolu, this was announced by the Ministry of Defense of Turkey.

A C-130 on an evacuation flight to Wadi Seidna military airport, which several countries use to evacuate their citizens from Sudan, came under small arms fire.

The Turkish Ministry of Defense noted that the plane landed safely and no one was injured. Evacuation flights are planned to continue until all Turkish citizens are evacuated.

Unconfirmed photos with alleged damage to the side and wing of the Turkish plane appeared on social networks.

As reported by the Western media, fighting resumed in Sudan on Friday after a brief truce.

We will remind you that last week, France and other European states, following the USA, began to evacuate their diplomats and citizens from the country.
