The US and UK ambassadors responded to Russian missile strikes on Ukrainian cities on the night of April 28, which killed at least 12 people.
British Ambassador Melinda Simmons posted a short tweet about the "joys of pre-dawn air raids" around 5 a.m., and later in the afternoon responded to the aftermath of the overnight attacks.
"I have friends in Uman who had to run out of their flats in the middle of the night. Last night's attack shouldn't be perceived any worse than others, but when you know the people who have been affected, it's inevitable. Knowing that one day these attacks will be held accountable , is not very comforting now, but I hold on to this opinion," the ambassador wrote.
"Even more lives have been tragically lost due to the fact that a Russian missile hit a residential building again. Russia still has not understood that this barbarism only strengthens the determination of Ukrainians and deepens our readiness to support Ukraine in the struggle," - reacted US Ambassador Bridget Brink.
As you know, on Friday night, Russia carried out another missile attack on Ukrainian cities. In Uman, Cherkasy region, a Russian rocket hit a residential building, seven people, including a child, died, and another 17 were injured.
A woman and a three-year-old child were killed in Dnipro as a result of Russian shelling. One child was injured and several apartments were damaged as a result of the fall of fragments of a Russian rocket on a residential high-rise building in the city of Ukrainka, Kyiv region.
