NATO countries have transferred almost all of the promised armored vehicles to Ukraine. It is about almost 2 thousand units of military equipment.
This was stated by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg at a briefing on April 27.
According to him, Ukraine has the military potential to liberate the territories from the Russian invaders. The Secretary General emphasized that the alliance provided almost all the promised equipment.
"NATO allies and partners have provided unprecedented support to Ukraine. More than 98% of combat vehicles promised to Ukraine have already been delivered," Stoltenberg said.
NATO Secretary General added that it is about more than 1,500 armored vehicles, 230 tanks and other equipment, including a large amount of ammunition.
Stoltenberg also commented on the conversation between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi and Chinese President Xi Jinping.
"The telephone conversation is good news, but it does not change the fact that China has not yet condemned Russia's invasion of Ukraine," he said.
We will remind you that earlier the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhnyi stated that Ukraine needs 300 tanks, 600-700 BMPs and 500 howitzers to return to the line at the time of the invasion of the Russian Federation.
As reported, the USA has not yet handed over Abrams tanks to Ukraine. The Pentagon notes that they will arrive by the end of the year.
