Zelenskyі met with the British Prime Minister's adviser on national security: what is known

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi held a meeting with Timothy Barrow, adviser to the Prime Minister of Great Britain on national security issues.

This is reported by the President's website.

"I want to ask you to continue convincing your partners of the need to provide Ukraine with all the necessary weapons and military equipment," Zelenskyі said.

The President and the adviser to the Prime Minister of Great Britain discussed the issue of further defense assistance to Ukraine. In particular, Zelenskyi emphasized the importance of transferring Western-style military aircraft to Ukraine, as well as various types of weapons necessary to confront the Russian aggressor. He called on Great Britain to take the lead in forming an air coalition for Ukraine.

The parties also discussed preparations for the NATO Summit, which will be held in Vilnius in the summer. Zelenskyі noted that Ukraine expects specific decisions from the summit that will bring the end of the war closer and strengthen the security of Europe.

In this context, the president also informed the adviser about the work on creating effective security guarantees for Ukraine, as long as our country is on the way to NATO membership.

The meeting was also attended by the Chief of the Defense Staff of Great Britain, Anthony Radakin, and the Assistant Prime Minister of the British Government for Military Affairs, Jamie Norman.
