Currently, there are no threats of attack from the direction of Belarus.

This interview with RBC-Ukraine was told by the head of the GUR of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov.

"You know, I was so glad that no one asked me this question for about six months. Because every time the degree of social tension rose, everyone ran to me and said: "Tomorrow the Belarusians will attack, what should I do?". I told everyone : "No, they are not attacking." They answered me: "No, you don't understand anything." And it was like that every time. And here you are about it again. No, as of now, there are no threats from that direction," he stated he.

According to him, Russia currently uses the territory of Belarus exclusively for the training of its mobilized forces and as a training ground.

"And for a certain political pressure on Western countries and so on. And from a military point of view, this is a training ground. Since Russian training grounds do not allow the number of troops that exist to train at the same time," Budanov added.

As reported, there is a serious shortage of instructors in Russia for its soldiers mobilized in Belarus. This fact is confirmed by the fact that military pensioners are used for this purpose.

In addition, the military command of Belarus is checking the possibility of starting mobilization in several regions.
