American senators and congressmen have submitted a resolution condemning the abduction of Ukrainian children by Russian invaders.
This is reported by the Prosecutor General's Office.
Attorney General Andriy Kostin thanked Senators Amy Klobuchar and Lindsey Graham, as well as Congressmen Don Bacon and Jimmy Panetta for submitting a resolution condemning the abduction of Ukrainian children by Russia.
It should be noted that Ukraine has already documented more than 19,000 cases of forced deportation of children. The primary task of the state is their return home. 361 children have already been returned.
The next step is to bring to justice all those involved in the planning, organization and implementation of this criminal strategy, including the military and political leadership of Russia.
"True victory is possible only when international mechanisms are created that will prevent the repetition of these crimes. I believe that Ukraine and the United States share this goal. And I also believe that our unity will lead us to this joint victory," Kostin said.
We will remind you that Russia wants to "send on vacation" more than 25 thousand children from the occupied territories of Ukraine.
In addition, the invaders send children from the occupied territories to Crimea for "military and patriotic education".
In addition, journalists conducted an investigation and established how a teenager from Mariupol ended up in the family of a Russian ombudsman.
