Russia decided to produce the Kh-50 cruise missiles because, in particular, it used its strategic stockpile of ammunition, and the process of making this type of missile may be the cheapest. Yuriy Ignat, the spokesman of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, announced this on the air of the national telethon.
The representative of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine noted that the enemy used a strategic stockpile of missiles against our critical infrastructure. In particular, since September 11, when powerful active attacks on critical infrastructure began, the occupiers have already fired more than 850 missiles into Ukraine.
"Maybe they have more resources to make this type of munition, maybe the process is cheaper. But basically, it's the same type of missile that Russia used against our facilities. What they're trying to create , they just announced it. Let's hope that it will not be so easy for them to do it under the conditions of sanctions," he said.
Hnat also suggested that the invaders could strike Ukraine during the Easter holidays.
"You just have to prepare, be alert and listen to air alarms," the Air Force spokesman added.
