The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Moldova on Thursday condemned the execution of a Ukrainian prisoner of war by the Russians, the video of which began to spread on social networks a few days ago.
This is stated in the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Moldova.
"The recently published video of the beheading of a Ukrainian prisoner by the Russian military in Ukraine shocked everyone. We strongly condemn this barbaric act, which is another serious violation of international humanitarian law," the agency said.
There, they emphasized the need to investigate all atrocities committed by Russia against Ukraine and bring the perpetrators to justice.
"We continue to stand in solidarity with the people of Ukraine, supporting the initiative to create a special tribunal for crimes of aggression against Ukraine," added the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Moldova.
