The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba, stated that Kyiv categorically does not agree with the approach of treating the occupied Crimea differently from other occupied Ukrainian cities.
He said this at the Black Sea Security Conference in Bucharest, which is organized under the auspices of the international Crimean Platform.
Kuleba reminded that the participants of the Crimean Platform are united by the principles of the UN Charter and they all agree that Crimea is the territory of Ukraine and should return to the control of Ukraine.
"Every time you hear someone in any part of the world say that Crimea is "special" and should not return to Ukraine, like any other part of our territory, it is important to know one thing: Ukraine categorically does not agree with such statements. "There is no difference , whether we are talking about Simferopol, Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson or some other Ukrainian city - they should all be Ukraine, and they will be like Kherson," Kuleba emphasized.
Ukraine initiated the holding of the first Black Sea Security Conference within the framework of the Crimean Platform on April 12-13 in Bucharest.
At the conference, research on the future configuration of the security of the Black and Azov Seas region from the expert network of the Crimean Platform will be presented.
