This was announced by the head of the Ministry of Defense Oleksiy Reznikov at a briefing in Media Center Ukraine.
"We plan to create a potential of at least five thousand Ukrainian specialists who will be engaged in demining. This is not taking into account specialists from other countries," he said.
According to the minister, it will take Ukraine about 30 years for demining, if it moves at the pace of Croatia, where the war ended 28 years ago, and part of the territory is still mined.
"On average, they can demine 50 square meters per year. km And our war is still going on. If we move at the pace of Croatia, it will take 30 years for complete demining," he added.
At the same time, Reznikov emphasized that the demining process can be accelerated with the help of modern technologies.
