The adviser to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Mykhailo Podolyak, joked about the degradation of Russian intelligence after the publication of The New York Times about the leak of several documents of the allies on the preparation of a counteroffensive by the defense forces of Ukraine.

In a post on Twitter, which is obviously a comment on the news about the leaking of documents, Podolyak hinted that the documents were not published in their original form and will not affect future events in any way.

"Since the collapse of the USSR, Russian intelligence has degraded to such an extent that the only way to wash away the "Salisbury adventures", "three-day plans" and other failures is photoshop and "virtual pseudo-rains". Moscow really wants to disrupt the Ukrainian counteroffensive. But the Russians will see the real plans. Soon" , - wrote the adviser to the head of the VP.

As reported, the NYT published an article with reference to sources that the US is allegedly investigating how the secret documents of the allies could have been leaked regarding the preparation of the defense forces of Ukraine for the upcoming counteroffensive - the training of new brigades and the supply of weapons.

It is noted that at least part of the data in the documents - concerning the estimated losses of both sides - was clearly changed in order to play along with Russian propaganda. At the same time, there is no mention of Ukraine's specific plans in the published papers.
