This is the fourth report since the beginning of April about the death of a Georgian soldier in Ukraine.
On April 1, it became known about the death of 29-year-old Mykhailo Mazanashvili, a native of Goriysk municipality. In two days, it was reported that Vakhtang Barabadze and David Kuchukyan were killed near Bakhmut.
Kuchukyan is a 32-year-old native of the village of Kyzil-Kilisa in the Kvemo-Kartli region. 44-year-old Barabadze was one of 24 Georgian volunteers who were included in last year's April list of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.
Since February 24 last year, more than 40 soldiers - citizens of Georgia and natives of Georgia who have Ukrainian citizenship - have died in battles on the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
