The recent information about the so-called "leaking of secret documents" regarding the Ukrainian counteroffensive is a common bluff on the part of Russia. Enemy troops will soon be the first to learn the real plans of our command.
This was written by the Telegram channel of the adviser to the head of the Office of the President Mykhailo Podolyak.
As Podolyak explained, if Russia had a working channel for receiving intelligence data from the Pentagon, it would be useless to destroy it for the sake of a one-day information drive. If the enemy has information about the provisions and plans of our soldiers, he would pretend that he does not know anything about it.
"If you try to pretend that you know, then you don't know anything. It's a bluff, dust in the eyes. You don't have the data, but you're just trying to destabilize, informationally and psychologically influence decision-makers," - the adviser to the head of the President's Office noted.
By disseminating information about the "leaking of secret documents", Russia pursues a number of goals:
an attempt to intercept the information initiative;
to influence the scenario plans of the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces;
to introduce doubts;
compromise previous ideas;
scare with your "awareness".
All of the above are standard elements of Russia's degraded intelligence game, which have nothing to do with Ukraine's real plans.
"The published data, rather, are based on a statistical analysis of supplies, possible operational and tactical plans, as well as a large volume of fictitious information. This is firstly. And secondly: undoubtedly, any war involves constant attempts by the enemy's intelligence agencies to gain access to of the work of the General Staff," adds Podolyak.
If Russia had received real scenario blanks, it would hardly have made them public, since it is more profitable to use its own traps and leave Ukraine in the dark.
"As for the real counteroffensive plans, the Russian troops will certainly get to know them first. I would assume that this will happen very soon," Podolyak noted.
"Documents" do not have specific plans, dates and places of the future offensive of our soldiers. At the same time, they contain information about the number of brigades that Ukraine plans to prepare and what equipment it will receive.
Military analysts believe that the "documents" were altered because they overestimated the US's estimates of the dead Ukrainian soldiers and underestimated the eliminated occupiers. This may indicate an attempt at disinformation by Moscow.
