"I am glad to welcome in Kyiv the Prime Minister of Japan Fumio Kishida - a really strong defender of the international order and a long-time friend of Ukraine," Zelenskyі said.
According to the president, Kishida arrived in Ukraine precisely at the time when it is important to activate global leadership for the purpose of protecting the goals and principles of the UN Charter and international security in general.
It will be recalled that earlier it became known that the Prime Minister of Japan arrived in Ukraine today, March 21, to meet with President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Kishida had already visited Bucha and seen the consequences of Russian atrocities.
