President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi and Prime Minister of Japan Fumio Kishida held a telephone conversation today, December 6.
This was reported by the Japanese TV channel NHK.
During the conversation, the Japanese prime minister confirmed his position on the Russian invasion. He noted that as the head of the G7 he will continue to support and sanction pressure on Russia in cooperation with international partners.
According to mass media, the Prime Minister of Japan and Zelensky discussed the details of Kishida's possible visit to Ukraine.
We will remind, earlier it became known that the head of the President's Office Andriy Yermak invited the Prime Minister of Japan to Ukraine.
It should also be noted that this year Japan chairs the G7. Of the leaders of the "Big Seven", only the leaders of Japan and the USA have not been to Ukraine since the beginning of the large-scale war.
