The company Spacety Luxembourg SA was suspected of transferring satellite images for the needs of the Russian private military company "Wagner" in January of this year.

Spacety Luxembourg S.A., a subsidiary of Spacety China, is in the spotlight after being listed by the US Office of Foreign Assets Control in the context of sanctions against the Wagner group.
Immediately, two Luxembourg departments - the Ministry of the Economy and the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs - filed a lawsuit against Spacety to the public prosecutor in connection with the fact that it allegedly transmitted satellite images for PVK "Wagner" and violated EU sanctions and 2018 legislation on export controls .
Also, the Ministry of Economy confirmed the termination of the contract for the lease of the offices used by the company in Luxembourg, and some institutions declared that they stopped cooperation with it - in particular, the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) and the University of Luxembourg.
The company denies all charges.
