The Russian occupiers launched 84 missiles of various bases during the day, 34 of which were destroyed and another eight did not reach their targets, according to operational information regarding the Russian invasion as of 6:00 p.m. Thursday, published on the Facebook page of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Also, the enemy carried out 12 airstrikes, in particular, used eight Shahed-136 type unmanned aerial vehicles, half of which were shot down.
"The Russian Federation has launched another massive missile attack on the critical infrastructure of our country and the homes of the civilian population. There are hits. Peaceful people have died. The Russian aggressor does not give up his intentions regarding the occupation of Ukraine. Without significant success on the battlefield, the enemy continues to use tactics terror, thereby grossly violating the norms of international humanitarian law," the General Staff emphasized.
During the day, the enemy carried out mortar and artillery shelling of 42 settlements in the Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, and Donetsk regions, including the cities of Vovchansk in the Kharkiv region, Bakhmut, Krasnohorivka, Avdiivka, Maryinka, and Vugledar in the Donetsk region, Gulyaipole in the Zaporizhzhya region, and the city of Kherson .
The General Staff notes that the missile threat level remains high throughout Ukraine.
