The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi together with the President of Latvia Egils Levits arrived in Lviv on March 3.
This was reported by Zelenskyi and the head of Lviv RMA Maksym Kozytskyi.
The leaders of the countries have already honored the memory of the fallen Ukrainian soldiers on the field of honor burials of the Lychakiv cemetery.
It should be noted that the first ladies of Ukraine and Latvia, the deputy head of the OP Oleksii Kuleba, the head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration Maksym Kozytskyi and his first deputy Andrii Godyk are also in Lviv.
Zelenskyi also visited Ukrainian soldiers who are being treated in one of the medical facilities. The doctors told him what kind of injuries patients come to them with most often and how long it takes to heal them.
The President thanked the medics, talked with the military, presented them with state awards, expressed respect for their courage and true love for their country, and wished them a speedy recovery and rehabilitation.
