The Ministry of Reintegration proposes to introduce the forced evacuation of children with their parents from the zones of active hostilities. At the same time, it will not be possible to refuse such an evacuation.
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Reintegration.
The Ministry of Reintegration initiates a draft resolution on the protection of children who are in the zone of hostilities and armed conflicts. It provides for the granting of permission to the RMA, in agreement with the military command bodies and the Coordinating Headquarters for Mandatory Evacuation, to decide on the mandatory evacuation of children with their parents or persons who replace them.
It is noted that such decisions can be made regarding individual settlements where active hostilities are taking place. At the same time, refusal of parents from mandatory evacuation is not allowed.
"If parents cannot take care of children's safety, the state will do it," Deputy Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk added.
It will be recalled that Vereshchuk calls on civilians to leave Bakhmut due to constant Russian shelling.
The police reported that less than 40 children remain in Bakhmut, and their evacuation continues.
