During the full-scale aggression, the Russian Federation injured 927 children in Ukraine, according to the Office of the Prosecutor General.
On March 1, the Russian occupiers shelled the village of Chornobayivka in the suburbs of Kherson, as a result of which a child was wounded. The Kherson Regional Military Administration (RMA) informed about this in Telegram.
"The Russian occupiers are fighting with children in the Kherson region. Russian artillery has just hit Chornobayivka. A one-year-old boy was wounded by enemy fire," the message reads.
According to the regional administration, the child's face and ears were cut by shards of glass, she is in a moderate condition.
"The ambulance is taking the baby to the hospital so that the doctors can save his life," RMA emphasized.
According to the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine, from February 24, 2022 to March 1, 2023, Russian occupiers injured 927 children in Ukraine and killed 461.
