Russia has less than 100 high-precision Kalibr, X-101, X-555 cruise missiles, which the occupiers most often use during shelling of Ukraine.
Andrii Chernyak, a representative of the GUR of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, told about this in a commentary published by "RBK-Ukraine" on February 27.
According to him, there are still thousands of missiles in Russia, but they use them much more than they produce, Chernyak is quoted by the Facebook of GUR.
"In a month, they can now produce no more than 30-40 missiles. The old missiles they have in service either do not fly due to a malfunction, or have a limited radius of attack," Chernyak emphasized.
He noted that the occupiers decided to increase their offensive potential by using aviation.
According to Chernyak, shooting down Russian planes "will be easier" after the Ukrainian military has learned to destroy missiles and kamikaze drones, and Ukraine's air defense "is being strengthened every day."
At the same time, the main task of the occupiers "remains the destruction of the energy system of Ukraine," said the representative of the State Government.
"It is not only about power generation facilities, but about the fuel and energy sector in general - they want to stop the supply of both oil products and electricity," Chernyak believes.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as of February 23, 2023, Russia has launched almost 5,000 missile and 3,500 air strikes on Ukraine since the beginning of the war.
The occupiers lost 300 aircraft, 2,048 operational-tactical UAVs, and 873 cruise missiles in the war against Ukraine, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said on February 27.
