Ukraine expects the first tanks from its partners in the near future. They will arrive with prepared crews.

This was announced on the Facebook page by the head of the Ministry of Defense, Oleksiy Reznikov.

"The free world has created a 'tank coalition' to help Ukraine win this war. In the near future, we expect the first tanks from partners with trained Ukrainian crews," Reznikov wrote.

The minister also joked that 4 Russian tanks "invaded" the EU and NATO tonight, referring to Ukraine's transfer of several captured Russian tanks to its partners.

"But, as they say, there is a nuance. Thanks to Ukrainian soldiers... on February 24, citizens of four countries - Germany, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia - will simultaneously see that Russian tanks can enter Europe through Ukraine only in the form of museum exhibits," - writes Reznikov.

He reminded that in the summer the first such expositions were hosted by our friends in Poland and the Czech Republic.

"This should also be a signal to the Russians. Europe will see their true face up close. Which used to cause total fear, and now more often - disgust and contempt. More Europeans will be convinced that Russia can and must be defeated on the battlefield. And it is better to do in Ukraine, so that later you don't have to stop the enemy near your house," added Reznikov.

We will remind that Ukraine will receive 14 Leopard 2 tanks from Poland in the coming weeks.

Meanwhile, German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius said that Berlin expects to deliver Leopard 2A6 tanks to Ukraine in the last week of March.
