The anti-Kremlin coalition consists of 54 countries, international partners are determined to win Ukraine. This was stated by Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov in an interview with FREEDOM TV channel, UNN reports.
"The fact is that the anti-Kremlin coalition already essentially consists of 54 countries. There were so many delegations during the meeting, initially on the fields of Ramstein, and since it took place in Brussels, in addition to the meeting within the framework of Ramstein, there was also a meeting of defense ministers there NATO countries... It was also a big meeting, Ukraine was invited as a guest of honor. And we continued our work," the minister said.
According to him, there were also bilateral meetings, including a "tank lunch", during which the allies discussed providing Ukraine with the weapons necessary to counter Russian aggression. Reznikov emphasized that the partner countries are not "tired of Ukraine", while they are "very determined for our victory".
"This is a completely different mood than a year ago, when we were given three days for the capital to fall, and three weeks at most for the whole country to fall, and that, probably, there will be some separate fighting somewhere. Today, everyone believes to Ukraine's victory, everyone wants this victory," he said.
The minister emphasized that today the allies "very clearly see" that the Russian so-called "second army of the world" "is very realistic to contain and defeat".
"And we proved it to the whole world, and that's why the whole world is inspired by the heroism of our defenders, citizens, all Ukrainians. And they want to be co-authors of our victory with you," he concluded.
The Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Oleksiy Reznikov, said that no political issues are discussed during the meetings of the Contact Group on Defense of Ukraine in the "Ramstein" format, including negotiations with Russia. Everyone understands that Ukraine needs to launch a counteroffensive.
