The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, and the President of the United States of America, Joseph Biden, after the negotiations in Kyiv, visited the Alley of Courage on Constitution Square and took part in the unveiling of a name plate dedicated to the American leader, the Office of the President reports.

 The head of the Ukrainian state reminded that the Alley displays the names of those who were with our country and supported Ukrainian society during the difficult times of the full-scale Russian invasion.

 "Today, on the Alley of Courage in Kyiv, we are unveiling a plaque dedicated to Mr. President Biden. The first call on the night of February 24 last year, our negotiations, constant strong attention to our struggle and defense of Ukrainian democracy, as well as Mr. President Biden's personal contribution to strengthening the positions of freedom in of the world is something that will forever remain in history," he emphasized.

 "Ukraine is grateful to you, Mr. President, Ukraine is grateful to the United States of America - to all Americans in all cities and communities who value freedom as much as we value it," added Volodymyr Zelenskyі.

 US President Joe Biden arrived in Kyiv. His visit was unannounced and his first trip to the country since the Russian invasion began nearly a year ago.

 The beginning of the visit takes place against the background of the air alert in Ukraine.

 President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyі confirmed the visit of US President Joseph Biden to Kyiv, noting that it is an extremely important show of support.

 Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyі held talks with US President Joe Biden, saying it was a conversation that "brings our joint victory in this war closer."
