The Ukrainian military received modern Skykit autonomous intelligence centers. Their technologies allow you to monitor the development of the war in real time.
This is reported by the French publication L'Express.
The publication notes that Ukrainian fighters can use dozens, perhaps hundreds of Skykit suitcases developed by the American company Palantir, which supplies espionage and military control systems to the United States and other Western countries, in combat operations.
Alex Karp, director of the Palantir company, said that his company is responsible for part of the targeting in Ukraine.
It should be noted that in June 2022, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi met with Karp in Kyiv. Then they discussed issues of further cooperation in the field of defense and security, as well as digitalization.
We should add that Skykit was officially presented in January, so Ukrainian defenders could get the system even before the official presentation.
What is known about Skykit?
Palantir Skykit is a fully autonomous intelligence center. It contains two built-in monitors, rechargeable power supplies and a dedicated laptop. It is also equipped with a Quadcopter drone and a small Trailcam Nano camera.
Skykit enables the military to effectively process intelligence, make decisions and execute operations from remote locations. The system also allows you to set tasks and analyze data from anywhere on the battlefield.
The system has its own secure satellite communication. The Ukrainian military can connect to one of 40 commercial satellites, analyze data collected by various artificial intelligence modules, and "see" the enemy.
Depending on intergovernmental agreements, Skykit can also access military satellites, such as the Pentagon's satellites.
