In Moldova, for the fourth time, a fragment of a missile was found, which entered the territory of the country after the Russian missile attack on Ukraine.

This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Moldova.

"The patrol of the border police found a fragment of a missile fired as a result of Russian airstrikes by Ukraine in the area of the border police sector of Larga (Brychansky district)," says the official statement of the department, which also includes a photo of the fragment.

The area where the fragment fell is under guard, sappers and prosecutors are on their way to the site.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs emphasized that this is already the fourth case when fragments of a missile from the bombing of Ukraine fall on the territory of Moldova.

"As in previous cases, all necessary actions are carried out in accordance with the procedure of institutions responsible for the safety and protection of citizens," the statement said.

We will remind, on February 14, Moldova temporarily closed the airspace to ensure the safety of citizens after the discovery of an unknown aerial vehicle similar to a weather probe in the north of the country.

Later, the speaker of the parliament Ihor Grosu said that the airspace was closed due to an aerial object, information about which the official Kishinev received from the Ukrainian authorities.

The representative of the Air Force of Ukraine, Yuriy Ignat, reported that on February 14, bullets with angle reflectors launched by the enemy were detected in the airspace of Ukraine. Russia uses such flying objects for reconnaissance and diversion of our air defense.

Hnat did not rule out that these bullets could enter the territory of neighboring states.
