The Russian occupiers got into the objects of thermal and hydro-generation, as well as high-voltage infrastructure in six regions. Emergency shutdowns have been implemented in many regions, Minister of Energy Herman Galushchenko said.
He added that the most difficult situation is observed in Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv and Khmelnytskyi regions.
At the same time, thanks to the successful work of the Air Defense Forces and technical measures in advance, it was possible to preserve the integrity of the energy system of Ukraine.
Currently, energy workers are working non-stop to restore energy supply.
After an enemy missile attack, part of Khmelnytskyi was cut off, and water supply interruptions are possible.
Also, the head of the Lviv Regional State Administration, Maksym Kozytskyi, warns of possible interruptions in electricity supply in the region due to a massive Russian missile attack on Ukraine.
