A new and large-scale offensive of the Russian army in Ukraine has already begun, large-scale battles continue in Donbas.
This was stated by the adviser to the head of the President's Office, Mykhailo Podolyak, on the air of the national telethon.
He noted that today the main and active hostilities continue in the Luhansk and Donetsk regions. Podolyak called them sufficiently large-scale.
"When everyone expected an offensive, this is the same offensive, it has already begun," the statement said.
Podolyak emphasized that the offensive did not end, and for some time the Russian Federation increased this pressure with the number of people it sent to death.
We will remind that the pace of Russian operations along the Svatove-Kreminna line in the west of the Luhansk region increased during the last week.
Italian Defense Minister Guido Crozetto said that Russia is likely to intensify its offensive in the near future.
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg also reported that there are no signs that Russia is preparing for peace, but on the contrary, the Kremlin is preparing a new offensive in Ukraine.
