The President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola, at the beginning of her speech at the meeting of the European Parliament with the participation of the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, called on EU countries to provide Ukraine with long-range missile systems and fighter jets.

 "States must now quickly consider as a next step providing the long-range systems and fighter jets that you need to protect the freedom that many take for granted," Metsola said.

 Metsola also pointed out, addressing Zelenskyi, that his leadership since the beginning of the Russian invasion all last year inspires "your own people and everyone else in every corner of the world."
