A group of Ukrainian soldiers went abroad to master the management and maintenance of German Leopard 2 tanks, which Ukraine will receive from the Allies in the future.

Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov announced this on his Facebook page after a meeting with his German counterpart in Kyiv.

"Today, together with the Minister of Defense of Germany, we had the honor of escorting our military to prepare for Leopard 2. My colleague really admires the speed of training of Ukrainians who acquire knowledge," Reznikov noted.

The Minister of Defense did not specify whether the soldiers are going to Germany for training or will undergo training in another country, as well as the size of the group.

Oleksiy Reznikov also noted that 600 Ukrainian sergeants have already started training with the Bundeswehr military, most likely, it is about various Western weapons systems.
