The International Monetary Fund is considering a new aid package for Ukraine. It should amount to 16 billion dollars. If the approval of the program is successful, the first payments may arrive as early as April. This is reported by Bloomberg sources.

 But the implementation of the program depends on a number of conditions, including approval by the G7 countries, as well as donors and creditors of Ukraine, who ensure the sustainability of the country's debt, sources said.

 The plan would also require changes to the IMF's lending rules to allow the fund to lend to a country at war. In addition, the government of Ukraine will need to take a number of measures to fulfill the conditions of the previous program.

 The United States is allocating $125 million to Ukraine for parts and other materials to restore energy supply facilities in Ukraine after Russian strikes, said the head of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Samantha Power.
