The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe supported the decision to prosecute the military and political leadership of the Russian Federation and Belarus for crimes against Ukraine. It is about the creation of a special tribunal for both Vladimir Putin and Alexander Lukashenko.
This was announced by a member of the Ukrainian delegation to PACE and People's Deputy Oleksiy Goncharenko in Telegram.
"The resolution calling for the immediate creation of an international tribunal over the military and political leadership of Russia and Belarus was unanimously supported. The venue of the tribunal is proposed to be The Hague," Goncharenko wrote.
Earlier, the European Parliament approved a resolution calling for the creation of an international tribunal to investigate the crimes of dictators Putin and Lukashenka.
