47 out of 55 Russian missiles launched by Ukraine were destroyed by the forces and means of air defense of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. This was announced by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhnyi.
According to him, Russia launched a massive missile attack on the territory of Ukraine today. The enemy launched 55 air and sea-based missiles (X-101, X-555, X-47 "Dagger", "Kalibr", X-59) from Tu-95, Su-35, MiG-31K aircraft and ships from the water area Black Sea.
"The forces and means of air defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 47 cruise missiles, 20 of them in the capital area. In addition, three out of four Kh-59 guided air missiles did not reach their target," Zaluzhnyі wrote.
He noted that the goal of the Russians remains unchanged - psychological pressure on Ukrainians and the destruction of critical infrastructure.
Energy Minister Herman Galushchenko reported that today the Russian army fired again at energy facilities in an attempt to create a systemic failure in the energy system of Ukraine, there are hits and emergency shutdowns, the most difficult situation is now in Kyiv, Odesa and Vinnytsia regions.
