The Russians have appointed yet another traitor to Ukraine to lead Mariupol.

The occupiers appointed as the new "mayor" of Mariupol the former head of the local police, Oleg Morgun, who defected to the separatists back in 2014, and was sentenced in Ukraine to 11 years in prison. The Mariupol City Council reports this, Chroniclers reports.

The report states that the appointment of Morgunov shows that the city wants to strengthen mobilization. Former Gauleiter Ivashchenko, according to preliminary data, was hospitalized.

"They decided to remove him, because he actively laundered money, gave the "green light" to looting. It was he and his henchmen who did the "revealing" for shelling during the offensive on Mariupol. It was because of them that people were left without communication, water, all the food headquarters and part of the buses that were intended for the evacuation of residents were shot," the city council notes.
