The Russian government plans to hold elections in the captured territories

The Russian authorities plan to appoint their leadership in the captured Ukrainian territories and hold elections there.

This is reported by the Russian mass media.

It is known that preparations for the elections to "regional parliaments" and "municipal councils" have already begun in the occupied territories. The political bloc of the presidential administration is responsible for it.

The occupying country hopes to be able to hold elections in September 2023. At the same time, according to the media, dictator Putin is confident that the elections will take place and is not considering other options for events.

"As part of preparations for this "election campaign", the Kremlin decided to "reinforce" pro-Russian administrations with so-called "vice governors for politics", who are usually responsible for the conduct of elections in the regions," the report said.

Currently, Russia is conducting a so-called "casting" of all those who want to run for office. Most of such candidates are "career officials" and "adventurous political technologists".

"There are enough willing people. Everyone understands that this is a good personnel elevator for further promotion and obtaining profitable contracts for campaigns in the following years," the source claims.

Earlier it was reported that Kremlin political technologists have already started preparing for the presidential elections in 2024. They are preparing a campaign against the current president, and they also hope that the war against Ukraine will end before the elections.
