Germany will not interfere if Poland sends German-made Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine. This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Germany, Annalena Berbock, in an interview with LCI.
Asked what would happen if Poland sent its Leopard 2 tanks without German approval, Burbok said: "We will not stand in the way. At the moment, this question has not been asked, but if we were asked, we would not interfere."
"We know how important these tanks are, so we are discussing this now with our partners. We have to make sure that people's lives will be saved, and the territory of Ukraine will be liberated," Berbok said.
In the interview, the journalist questioned whether he understood correctly that Germany would not object if Poland sent Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine.
"You got me right," Burbok said.
