This is a disaster: the German Bundestag is unhappy with the result of "Ramstein" regarding tanks

The Bundestag is disappointed that no decision was made during Ramstein to transfer Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine. Berlin should at least allow other countries to receive these supplies.

The statement of the head of the defense committee of the Bundestag, Marie-Agnes Strack-Zimmermann, is quoted by ZDF.

"History is looking at us, and Germany, unfortunately, has once again demonstrated its inability. The way German Chancellor Olaf Scholz informs the public about this topic is simply a disaster, because, on the one hand, Germany provides large-scale aid to Ukraine, but due to the lack of a decision on combat tanks create a different impression," says Strack-Zimmerman.

According to her, the new Minister of Defense of Germany, Boris Pistorius, is allegedly "on a chain".

"The signal would be correct if we gave the green light to our partners. Not everyone should (transfer tanks), but those who have Leopard 2 and who are ready to supply them to Ukraine. This would be the first step," says Strack-Zimmerman.

In turn, she reminded that there are almost 3,000 Leopard 2 tanks in Europe.

"Even if you put a part of them, it will be a real signal," Strack-Zimmerman concluded.

We will remind that yesterday during the meeting of "Ramstein" an agreement was not reached regarding the transfer of German Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine.

However, a number of countries have already declared their readiness to transfer these tanks to Ukraine, and therefore continue to call on Berlin to give a "green light" to their supply.

In turn, Bankova explained to Germany that every day of delay costs lives for Ukrainians.
