The Netherlands is ready to consider the transfer of F-16 fighters to Ukraine. If Ukraine receives a corresponding request.
"The Cabinet of Ministers of the Netherlands will consider the possibility of supplying Ukraine with F-16 fighter jets, if the Ukrainian government asks for it," the publication quotes the head of the country's Foreign Ministry, Wopke Hoekstra.
According to the media, he made such a statement during the parliamentary debate on Thursday.
According to him, the Cabinet of Ministers of the Netherlands will consider such a request "openly".
We will remind, very recently it was reported that the Netherlands is ready to pay for Leopard tanks for Ukraine.
The country's Defense Minister Kaisa Ollongren noted that her country had previously paid for the shipment of Soviet T-72 tanks from the Czech Republic to Kyiv, and this approach could be replicated for the German-made Leopard tanks.
