The sea port "Ust-Dunaisk" was sold at an auction for 201 million hryvnias. Privatization of the sea port took place for the first time in the history of Ukraine.

This was reported by the press service of the State Property Fund.

"The final offer for the Ust-Dunaisk port was 3.3 times higher than the starting price, which was 60 million hryvnias. This result was achieved thanks to significant competition among entrepreneurs - 8 investors competed for the port," the report says.

It is noted that the winner has 20 working days to pay the price of the lot.

"Ust-Dunaisk" has great potential for the development of Ukrainian food exports. Now he will be able to attract private investments and help Ukraine feed even more people around the world," the press service added.

We will rеmind you that in December 2022, the State Property Fund prepared the privatization of the Ust-Dunaisk sea trade port.

The port consists of three assets - the port itself in the city of Vylkovo, Odesa region, the port office "Kilia" in the city of the same name, and the service base for special lighter vessels on Shabash Island. Loading and unloading operations are carried out directly at the Kilia port, which is located 54 km from the Danube River. The passport depth at the pier is 3 m, the actual depth is 1.5 m.
