Contract workers from Dagestan refused to fight in Ukraine and returned to the unit

The contractors of the 136th Motorized Rifle Brigade from Dagestan refused to comply with the command's orders during the war in Ukraine and returned to the point of permanent deployment of the unit in Buynaksk. This became known from the materials of the administrative case of serviceman Zaur Batyrkhanov, who complained about being dismissed from service, Kavkaz writes. Realities. The exact number of contract workers who returned with him from Ukraine is not known.

The court established that at the beginning of March 2022, Batyrkhanov was sent to the front, where he felt unwell during loading and unloading operations. The contractor turned to the special medical unit, but he was refused help. Later, another serviceman allegedly gave Batyrkhanov a verbal order from the commander to go to the place of permanent deployment of the unit, which the contract officer did on March 25. Arriving in Dagestan, he asked for medical help.

According to part of the documents submitted to the court by the command, Batyrkhanov and several of his comrades, "being on a business trip to perform special tasks, refused to comply with the order to take up a firing position in the area of concentration to cover the Allied troops." There was no Batyrkhanov on the list of those who refused to participate in the war, but the commander of the military unit explained that he "made an oversight" by not specifying his last name.

Regarding Batyrkhanov, a report on gross disciplinary offense was drawn up, on the basis of which he was dismissed from military service.

However, the Makhachkalinsky Garrison Military Court partially satisfied Batyrkhanov's statement, recognizing the order of the commander of military unit No. 63354 to stop the payment of previously established allowances to the contract worker as illegal. The early release, however, remained in effect.
