French Defense Minister Sébastien Lecornu said that he expects to deliver AMX-10 RC heavy armored personnel carriers, which are also classified as wheeled tanks, to Ukraine within two months.
This is stated in the message of the French Ministry of Defense following the conversation of the minister with his Ukrainian colleague Oleksiy Reznikov.
"The ministers discussed the supply of French-made AMX-10 RC combat vehicles to Ukraine, which was agreed upon in principle by President Macron in a conversation with President Zelenskyі on January 4 for two months," the message reads.
The ministers also discussed the organization of rapid training for Ukrainian machine operators.
It is reported that Oleksiy Reznikov thanked his colleague for the Crotale air defense systems, which helped save lives during the recent bombings of Kyiv.
