On the territory of Belarus, the formation of a group of regional troops joint with the Russian Federation continues. They also plan to hold aviation exercises there to train the relevant units. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Belarus.
The Belarusian ministry said that the build-up of the troops of the Union State is taking place in stages. Personnel, weapons, military and special equipment of the armed forces of the Russian Federation will continue to arrive in the country.
"Further combat coordination activities are planned with the arriving units at the training grounds of the Republic of Belarus," they said.
In addition, the Ministry of Defense of Belarus announced joint air-tactical exercises with Russia.
"On the Russian side, the military formation of the Air and Space Forces will take part in this event," the agency said.
