Currently, there is an increase in electricity consumption in Ukraine due to the gradual decrease in temperature and the intensification of business operations after the holidays. This was reported by the press service of "Ukrenergo".
"Therefore, in order to ensure balance in the energy system, consumption limits have been brought to all regions of Ukraine, which apply from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. We remind you that exceeding the consumption limits leads to the application of emergency restrictions," the message says.
It is also emphasized that in the front-line regions in the east, energy objects of distribution networks came under fire from the occupiers. Repair work and restoration of nutrition will be carried out after obtaining the appropriate military permits.
In addition, "Ukrenergo" reminds that the power system was subjected to 11 missile and 14 drone attacks by the enemy. Damage to generation facilities and trunk networks is complex and large-scale. Their restoration still requires significant resources and time.
Ukrainians are urged to consume electricity wisely and use energy-intensive appliances alternately.
