The Ministry of Defense of Belarus said that the missile that fell yesterday in the Brest region could allegedly be a "deliberate provocation of Ukraine." This, according to the version of the Belarusian regime, is perceived as one of the versions.
This was announced by the head of the Belarusian anti-aircraft missile forces Kyrylo Kazantsev, whose statement was published by the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Belarus.
According to him, only Minsk considers two versions of events.
"As mentioned earlier, in the Ivanovo district, a target that flew in from the Ukrainian side was hit by air defense means. There are still questions behind this incident, and we are considering two versions: an inadvertent launch of an anti-aircraft guided missile due to poor calculation skills or a malfunction of the missile, or it is a deliberate provocation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine," Kazantsev said.
Falling of a rocket in Belarus: what is known about it.
We will remind you that yesterday, December 29, during a massive Russian missile attack on peaceful cities of Ukraine, Belarus announced that a missile allegedly fired from Ukraine fell on its territory.
At first, two versions were considered there: the missile flew to Belarus, similar to the recent incident in Poland, or the missile was shot down as a result of the operation of Belarus' air defense systems.
In turn, the Air Force of Ukraine denies its involvement in the fall of the missile fragments on the territory of Belarus.
They deny Minsk's statements that it was a Ukrainian missile that allegedly fell on the territory of Belarus and reminded that Russia has repeatedly launched its missiles along the Belarusian border.
Let's add that the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine also reacted to the incident, saying that they are ready to create an international commission to investigate.
