Residents of Mykolaiv high-rise buildings will be compensated for 50% of the cost of generators, Mykolaiv Mayor Oleksandr Senkevich announced.
"Today, at the session of the city council, the Program for partial compensation of the cost of generators to multi-apartment buildings was approved, which will start working on January 15, 2023. Residents of high-rise buildings will be compensated by the city for 50% of the cost of the generator (but not more than UAH 30,000). The minimum power of the device should be at least 3 kW," he wrote in the Telegram channel.
All homes that have purchased generators since June 1, 2022 are reportedly eligible for compensation. Applications must be submitted by condominiums or management companies.
"Purchased generators will become the property of all residents of the high-rise building. They can be used at the discretion of residents. The executive committee will soon approve the procedure for issuing compensation," Senkevich said.
