President Volodymyr Zelenskyi's team plans to submit a peace plan to end the war in Ukraine in February next year. The Wall Street Journal writes about it.
According to European and Ukrainian diplomats, Zelenskyi's team is making this plan more concrete and aims to present its ideas on or around February 24, the first anniversary of a full-scale Russian invasion.
According to the newspaper, Zelenskyi's dialogue on the peace formula during his visit to Washington took place after Kyiv recently discussed the 10-point peace plan.
"Representatives of the US, Ukraine and NATO have said that Ukraine's position in any negotiations, where it is likely to demand significant concessions from Moscow, will depend on its position on the battlefield, and therefore Kyiv wants to prepare for potential peace talks by achieving military victories ", the article says.
