The US is concerned about Minsk's role in the war against Ukraine. In this regard, the Americans continue to monitor the strategy of using Russian troops in Belarus.
This was stated by the press secretary of the White House, Karin Jean Pierre, during the briefing.
She noted that the ruling regime of Belarus allowed the Russian Federation to wage war against Ukraine from its territory, which the Russian Federation uses as a bridgehead for its troops.
"We continue to closely monitor the strategy of Russia's use of force. This is what we have done and will continue to do, in particular in Belarus," Jean Pierre added.
According to her, the USA remains in close contact with Ukraine.
We will remind, according to ISW analysts, the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, probably refused the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, to make further integration concessions and to participate in the war against Ukraine.
